So... the computer isn't fixed yet. The technician *said* he called to tell me he was sick and couldn't make it, but didn't reach me. I found this out at 5:30 when I called him to find out where the hell he was.
So the verdict is my computer is out of commission until Monday or Tuesday.
I'm sitting here at the 24 hour lab at the campus library to write this message. I can write via googledocs, but AIM Express is being a pain in the ass and not letting me log in. If you want to get in touch with me this weekend, e-mail or text seems to be the way to go. Kate has my number.
And I *was* all set to get a lot of writing in this weekend. *grumbles*
Edit: Ok, I was being a moron with AIM express. I have it up and running so I should be available whenever I have access to a pc! |

With the semester 3/4 of the way done and the bulk of my coursework turned in, I'd thought I was going to be free all weekend to write.
Best laid plans of mice and men, etc...
Instead I'll be traveling down to Indianapolis tomorrow after work to play computer consultant for my parents. I should have time Friday and Saturday evenings, and hopefully will be around Sunday afternoon. |

Okay, I've finally seen 'Star Trek'. I liked it, very enjoyable for a casual fan. Casting Zachary Quinto as Spock was an inspired choice, he was perfect for the role.
It was very difficult to turn my brain off and not nitpick, but I managed to do it for the length of the movie. |
